Demolition Services

Hydrodemolition. Hydro-milling. Hydro-scarification. Whether you need to cut to the core or merely remove a one-inch layer, our high-pressure water technique delivers the ultimate level of speed and precision for removing concrete that is deteriorated, delaminated or deteriorated.

Advantages

Advantages

• Reduces transmitted sound; eliminates vibration and potential structural damage.
• Does not damage the exposed aggregate.
• Eliminates surface micro-fracturing.
• Minimizes worker fatigue and injuries.
• Minimizes dust.

Hydrodemolition

Hydrodemolition

Remove specific depths from concrete surfaces the safe, efficient way: hydrodemolition. This process, also known as hydro-milling, is extremely effective for removing deteriorated, delaminated or contaminated concrete for overlay work when the structural steel will be reused. Using high-pressure water (15,000 to 30,000 psi), our hydrodemolition process is faster than traditional concrete removal methods and produces a rough, irregular surface and clean, undamaged reinforcements that are excellent for mechanical bonds.

Hydroscarification

Hydroscarification

The term hydroscarification (hydro-scarification) is another term referring to the same process as hydrodemolition, but is normally used when depths of less than 1 inch are required and the steel reinforcing will not be exposed. A surface prepared using these techniques provides the best possible bond for all types of repair material.
